I knew from previous visits that both Rethymnon an Chania are lovely cities, so I couldn't decide which one to choose, so I spent one week in each city. I still can't say that I prefer one over the other, the are both lovely place. Discovering these cities was another highlight for me.

Lake of Aoos Springs
Aoos Springs lake is a man-made lake near Metsovo, Greece. It was created for the production of electricity in one of the longest and most important rivers in Greece.
Taken with a Minolta XD-5, Rokkor MD 28mm f/2.8 and Fuji Superia Reala film. Removed some noise with Photoshop.

Melomakarouna
These are like biscuits but they are soaked with honey, hence their name Melomakarouna (the first half means honey, the second half, I never figured out why it is like that :P ). They are usually made also during Christmas and New Year time! Also, my mother usually puts pieces of nuts on the top, usually almond or walnut pieces. They are delicious :)
