Snowy Cyclamen

Snowy Cyclamen, originally uploaded by Anna_Greece.

It has been snowing non-stop for the past 3 days all over Greece. Today it finally stopped snowing so I decided to go outside and take a few shots. Here are my frozen Cyclamens. I'm surprised they're still on the stems after the heavy snow storms!

karia just visible on the horizon - so this counts as an Ikaria shot too.

Lonely?

Lonely?, originally uploaded by xwtiko.

Sunday afternoon, heading west.

People living in the mainland usually see the sea as an obstacle, an element that cuts their way and communication.
For me it has never been like that. I see sea giving life, power, peace. I don't think I could ever live in a place where I couldn't feel the sea.
I wonder, is it like that for every people living in islands, or by the sea ?
