Footprints in the sand
I turfed out this old shot from Greece last year (taken at the same time as this one) as I thought I could add something to the shot with the post-processing skills I've learnt in the last few months.
I think I've certainly made it a lot more appealing, although I wonder whether it's not also made it a lot more cheesy - maybe it is just inherently cheesy though, and not a case of the production work making it so.
If you're interested I used the pixel blending technique referred to in this tutorial and tinkered with it in various other ways.

Sunset on Plaka beach, Naxos, Greece
I have to admit to cheating slightly on this photo: I had to underexpose the surf and sky of the original RAW and overexpose the sand and then merge the two images back together. I think it works quite well, although if you view it in large you can see some stranges lines just where the surf meets the sand on the right hand side.
Mitzela - Ovrios Beach
One of the best on Mt Pelion, almost untouched and unvisited, on the foremost north end of Pelion. As it is in mid august noon! Here the destructed village was starting with a small dock.
